Our landed cost calculator

The calculator produces an estimate, not a quotation and not an offer. It is a guide to help you budget.

Actual costs depend on the individual vehicle, its customs classification, the exchange rate on the day, shipping rates at the time of booking, the condition of the vehicle when it arrives, and the duty and tax treatment HMRC applies. Any of these can move the final figure.

Nothing produced by the calculator is binding on us. A binding figure is only ever given in a written quotation for a specific vehicle.

Vehicle listings and guides

Vehicles shown as available are subject to prior sale, and we may withdraw a listing at any time. Specification details are given in good faith but should be confirmed with us before you rely on them.

Our guides describe import rules, costs and processes as we understand them at the time of writing. They are general information, not legal, tax or financial advice. Import duty rates, tax reliefs, testing requirements and DVLA procedures change. Always confirm the position for your specific vehicle with us, with your customs agent, or with the relevant authority before you commit money.

We are not liable for loss arising from reliance on general information on this site.

Enquiries

Submitting an enquiry does not create a contract. It is an invitation for us to quote. A contract is formed only when we have agreed terms for a specific vehicle in writing and you have paid any deposit we ask for.

The content of this site, including text, photographs, layout and the Area 9 name and logo, belongs to us. You may read it, share links to it, and print pages for your own use. You may not republish our content commercially without our permission.
